Glutathione (GSH) is a peptide consisting of three key amino acids that plays several vital roles in the body. Longevity researchers believe that it is so pivotal to our health that the level of GSH in our cells is becoming a predictor of how long we will live! Every cell in our bodies produce it. It’s the most important antioxidant as it resides within the cell. Crucial role in immune function. Promotes T-cell function. Protects against environmental toxins. Discourages cancer progression.

Although unlikely to be deficient, some sources that help the body produce GSH are: Milk Thistle, Arugula, Bok choy, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Collard greens, Kale, Mustard greens, Radish, Turnip, Watercress.

NAC, Vit C & E can boost glutathione. α-Lipoic Acid restores GSH levels. Methylation keeps the body producing glutathione. Works with Selenium.
